DV Linux Systems Administrator
Responsibilities:
- Installing and configuring hardware (IBM servers and BladeCenters).
- Installing and configuring of RedHat Linux either manually or by kickstarting servers.
- Installing application software as part of a kickstart build.
- Creating and altering Shell scripts.
- Creation and maintenance of Configuration Item details.
Mandatory Skills:
- RedHat/Linux
- Development skills (as opposed to administration) RedHat generally and KVM (virtualisation)
- Satellite/Forman
- Hadoop
- Puppet
- Docker
- Mongo
