Quality Auditor Location: RAF Valley, Holyhead, Anglesey Permanent, Full Time

About the role

Here at Babcock we are looking to recruit a Quality Auditor based at RAF Valley, reporting to the Systems Quality Team Leader and Continuing Airworthiness Assurance Manager. You will be required to conduct audits and provide audit reports and Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) to MAA and ISO EN9100 Rev D standards.

What do I need to do the role?

You'll need to demonstrable experience of working within an aviation environment and a sound knowledge of Quality Management and Aviation Safety Management Systems, have a broad base QA experience, a good working knowledge and use of IT MS Office Suite and hold a full driving license.

Would also like you to have experience in all or some of these areas:

  • Provide support to Continuing Airworthiness Assurance Manager
  • Work to and support the implementation of the Quality Management System
  • Monitor and propose amendments to the Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE) and Acceptable Means of Compliance (AMC) to ensure they satisfy appropriate regulatory and Company requirements
  • Liaise with customers, clients and other contractors as necessary and process customer complaints and corrective actions including but not restricted to Quality Occurrence Reports and Corrective Action Reports
  • Ensure that all audit reports are completed and distributed within laid down timescales and any subsequent actions are tracked and hastened to meet set targets
  • Maintain inputs to the tracking database/spread sheet for all corrective and preventative actions from both internal and external audits
  • Analyse statistical information from the data gathered within the tracking database to inform decisions on Continuous Improvement
