We have some exciting opportunities for Cloud Developer at varying levels who are looking to join our Space, Defence & Intelligence business unit. We need junior, mid-level, senior, lead bid managers, based in multiple locations, working for a range of clients and at different security levels.
Our roles are only available if you hold or fulfil the criteria to obtain a UK Security Clearance.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
You will have a blend of experience covering cloud specific technologies as well as general software engineering and system engineering. Your skills will include several of the following:
• Public Cloud Services, Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Open Source Software such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure and OpenStack.
• Application programming in languages such as Java, C/C++, Python and SQL
• Database administration
• Linux and Windows system administration
• Networking
• Hadoop and distributed computation
Security clearance is required for this vacancy. Candidates will need to have or be able to gain a minimum of Security Check (SC) clearance with the ability to attain Developed Vetting (DV) clearance. We ask that all candidates be eligible and willing to undergo the DV clearance process.
Our projects are based in a CGI office or client site but may require travel to other locations. The successful candidate must be able to spend time working away from home, if required.
