VDI (Citrix) Analyst

About the role

Here in Babcock International we're looking for a VDI (Citrix) Analyst to join us in our Portsmouth Office. Working as part of our large IT team, you will be maintaining and monitoring the group wide Citrix infrastructure, encompassing Core Citrix, XenApp and Netscaler platforms. You will be also be part of the current rollout of XenApp 7.15.

You will also be in involved in;

• Application deployment, testing and support across Citrix infrastructures
• Microsoft Appv packaging, Group Policy creation, Windows Server troubleshooting and the production of documentation

And as you're supporting our business we'll be supporting you. What do I need to do the role?

You must have excellent knowledge and experience of Citrix technologies as well as XenApp, with the ability to support new XenApp Farm implementations. Experience with Netscaler, VMWare and Powershell is desirable.

What else do I need to know about the role?

• You will work a 37.5 hour week Monday-Friday with flexible start and finish times
• You will be part of an on call rota (1 in 4 weeks)
• All applicants must have or be able to obtain SC security clearance
