Our client within the defence industry is looking for a Project Manager to join their team responsible for a multi-functional team from Engineering, Procurement, Production and Administration.

The primary function of the role is to ensure customer requirements are delivered on quality, on time and on cost.

Role:

- Be the point of contact for customers, proposals and/or projects
- Deliver programmes on time, on quality and in costs
- Ensure programmes effectively focus on mitigation of risk to result in successful completion.
- Drives the Project from proposal to delivery
- Endorses Project goals and defines Development Plan
- Responsible for overall internal and contractual compliance
- Drives tight change control management and impact reviews
​​​​​​​- Provides Project reporting to Airbus management
- Configuration management of project and manufacturing documents

About You:

- HND/Degree in Electronic Engineering or other relevant subjects
- Proven track record of delivering complex proposals under short timescales and delivering complex and challenging projects
- Excellent Communication skills
- Able to present complex information in an understandable manner
- Strong Analytical skills

Please note, role will be based in Portsmouth but may incur travel to other Airbus sites from time to time
