Automation Test Engineer

Proven and demonstrable experience of Test management, Test Planning & Design including: all phases of the software test lifecycle such as FAT, SAT, UAT, Integration of different test techniques such as black box, white box, soak, performance or TDD/BDD or Dev-Ops or Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD).

In depth knowledge of software methodologies including Waterfall/V model, agile, lean, incremental.  Proven and demonstrable experience of producing high quality Test Documentation, Test Reports and MI. Proven and demonstrable experience of driving test efficiency and effectiveness through solid testing principles.

Proficient user of but not limited to Test Bench, Microsoft Visual Studio 2010, Jenkins, Selenium, Appium, Junit Automated testing, Eclipse (including MAVEN), LoadRunner. Web services testing[SOA](SOAPUI).

Multiple environment testing (Web, front/back end, cross browser).  Evidence of testing on multiple platforms such as Linux and Windows and within different languages – Mongo, XML, VB, Java, C#, .Net, HTML, AngularJS, JSON, C++,  SQL/MySql/NoSql, Mongo API, Stub and Harness Testing. It is essential that the role holder has up-to date and proven hands on experience of HP ALM or the Atlassian suite (JIRA, Confluence) specifically for Release Management, Incident Management, Problem Management and Change Management.  Scripting languages e.g.  Python, Javascript, PHP, Bash, PowerShell.

The locations for the role are Ipswich, Gloucestershire or Hampshire.
