NATS is embarking on a major multi-year programme of work to modernise its systems and services. To effectively manage the new Systems & Services they require an increased Service Operations Management (SOM) capability (people, process & tools) based on ITIL to minimise operational cost, predict and manage failures and improve overall quality of service delivered to its business and customers. SOM shall provide multiple capabilities including Services Desk, Configuration Management, Monitoring & Management, Automation, Security Information & Event Management, Knowledge & Analytics and Remote Access as part of its scope. Roles & Responsibilities

You will also be responsible for the integration of other service group constructs our Citrix solution and ensuring quality of the engineered solution from an availability, reliability and performance perspective. You will be responsible for configurations of the product build, configuring the workflows, reference data, testing, training and operational tasks. The role also involves working with other programs to accommodate their requirements and configure the tool set accordingly, working with an on-boarding team, then in operation, working with the Service Groups to evolve their use of the products.

Skills Required

5+ years experience in Citrix XenApp Technologies

5+ years experience packaging and deploying Applications

5+ years experience packaging and deploying Applications using Microsoft App-V

5+ years experience with AppSense/iVanti Application Manager, Environment Manager & Performance Manager.

Experience in translating requirements/process flows into Remote Desktop solutions

Attention to detail

Ability to decompose High Level requirements and produce designs that can be traced back through lower level requirements

Ability to work collaboratively across multiple disparate teams

Ability to work with vendors

Manage own work and attend technical meetings

Experience with implementation of Remote Access solutions including;

Citrix XenApp

Application Packaging & Microsoft App-V Sequencing

AppSense DesktopNow / iVanti UWM product suite

Proven experience configuring NetScaler, using CAG pre-auth, post-auth policies, GSLB, Load balancing, MAS, High Availability

Working knowledge of Active Directory and security principles

Experience of user profile configuration within Windows environments

Desktop Hardening

Good knowledge of Group Policy

Service Desk & Change Management experience

Nice to have

Working knowledge of cloud systems

Working knowledge of Linux and Windows platforms

Working knowledge of Agile Methodologies such as SCRUM
