We are building a new service delivery management capability, migrating our Air Traffic Management services onto the next-generation of NATS technology. We have a great opportunity for a Technical Contract & Support Expert to join our Enterprise Integration & Messaging (EIM) Service Group.
The purpose of the role is to use your experience of managing and maintaining enterprise service bus technologies to provide support, challenge and oversight to the Managed Service Provider(s) for the Core Infrastructure Support Group.

Responsibilities:
    Application of technical contract management processes, within a safety-related operating environment, to assigned/escalated Incidents, prioritising, diagnosing and ensuring resolution is achieved.Gaining, holding and maintaining the knowledge necessary to control and approve the restoration of technical services using the appropriate parties and agreed procedures.Engaging with the Managed Service Providers and other NATS Suppliers; proactively measuring and positively influencing the NATS customer relationship between NATS internal and external customers and the Managed Service Provider.Creation, maintenance, approval and withdrawal of Knowledge products.Monitoring and undertaking Problem Management activities in order to continuously improve service provision to deliver a 'predict and prevent' method of operations.The approval and confirmation for implementation of Core Infrastructure or Platform Service Requests, and for assessment and confirming implementation of assigned Changes.Auditing to ensure that service configuration records remain accurate, complete and current.Effective application of risk management processes.The management of service assets.The contract monitoring and management of the future demand placed on the Support Group and MSPs.Working as part of a team, including the Service Delivery Manager (SDM), Technical Contract Support Manager and fellow Technical Contract & Support Experts, including delegation as required.
Qualifications & Skills
    Honours degree in an Engineering or IT related discipline, or relevant experience.Works under general direction and within a clear framework of accountability.Exercises substantial personal responsibility and autonomy.Has a demonstrable commitment to continuous professional development.Experience of working in automated and virtualised environments where a software-defined architecture is prevalent.Effective oral, written communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to interpret and communicate technical information into business language and vice versa.Ability to work calmly, systematically and analytically.Ability to analyse complex technical data in a complex operating environment.A good knowledge of ITIL Service Lifecycle Management practises.Financial management skills.Ability to work in teams, take responsibility, delegate, plan and schedule.Proven history of application of continuous service improvement processes.

UK Air Traffic Management is a safety critical environment, and part of Critical National Infrastructure, you will be required to pass and hold SC level UK Security Clearance.
