Software Engineer

Software Engineer - Gosport - Permanent - Full-Time - £48,000 per annum
STR Group are pleased to consider applications for the position of Software Engineer working for our Defence client based in Gosport on a Permanent basis.

In order to be considered you will need to have the following experience and qualifications:
Previous experience using C++ and/or C#.
Full cycle development.
An understanding or appreciation of Naval Architecture.
BPSS Clearance.

Our client is based in Gosport and due to their expanding business needs they are currently recruiting for a Software Engineer to join their dynamic team. You will be working with C# &/or C++ you will be supporting application development. Our client is looking for an intelligent and friendly individual to their team as a team fit is vital for them. This is a full-time permanent position working 37 hours per week working in Gosport.

The salary for this position is £48,000 and is dependent on experience and suitability for the position. On top of this is benefits that include:
25 days Annual Leave - Bank holidays and 2/3 days taken to cover Christmas as that's mandatory, office closes for Christmas!
37 hour working week - flexibility on offer as balancing your personal life with work is essential!
Pension - Our client will pay 1.5 times your personal contribution up to a maximum of 7%
Life Cover - Should you die whilst employed your nominated dependents will receive a lump sum of up to 6 times your basic salary
Income Protection - If you fall ill for more than 6 months provided you meet the incapacity requirements you may be eligible to receive income protection benefits broadly equal to 50% of your basic salary
On site Free Health Assessment - A Health Assessment is a simple, quick 15 minute appointment with a trained Physiologist. Tests will cover Blood Cholesterol and Glucose levels, Blood Pressure & Body Mass Index
