As the Electronic Warfare and Signals Intelligence (EWSI) Trainer you will be responsible for the design, development and delivery of focused, current and credible EWSI training to domestic and foreign customers in the UK and abroad.  As such, you should be qualified and experienced in the delivery of individual and collective practical and classroom training to adult students whose first language is not English.

Working within a high-tempo, cutting-edge training environment, you will possess an in-depth knowledge of Communications, Radar, Intelligence and EW principles and their applications within the operational environment; across the air, land and maritime domains.  Experience of Strategic, Operational and Tactical EW operations including the population and extraction of intelligence products from EW databases would be highly beneficial.

Overseas travel will be required, and you must be able to work for long periods unsupervised with an ability to make informed decisions on a case by case basis.

You will be given every opportunity to further develop your skills by way of in-house mentoring.  In addition, you will receive training on state-of-the-art software toolsets.

Mandatory Skills Requirement:

Successful military career as an Electronic Warfare and Signals Intelligence (EWSI) practitioner with experience of the associated techniques, frameworks and processes

In depth knowledge of COMINT (Voice and Data) and/or ELINT analysis with a good overall understanding of the Air, Maritime and Land environments with proven experience in the collection of hostile communications emitters and use of EWSI databases

Excellent presentation skills with proven experience in EW training provision & design

Must be eligible to hold UK security clearance

Desirable Skills Requirement:

Knowledge of complex signals collection and analysis

Electronic Countermeasures (ECM) Force Protection (FP) experience  

Understanding of JSP-822 / DSAT principles

Light Electronic Warfare Teams (LEWT) or Radio Recce Team (RRT) experience
