As an Operational Electronic Warfare (EW) Instructor, you will be responsible for the design, production and delivery of, predominantly but not exclusively, Air focused EW training courses for UK and overseas delivery to foreign and domestic customers. As such, you should also be experienced in the delivery of individual and collective, practical and classroom training to adult students.
Working within a high-tempo, cutting-edge training environment, you will possess an in-depth knowledge of Radar, Electro-Optic and Infra-Red guided Weapon Systems and their operational applications. Knowledge and experience of the additional of additional areas from missile guidance, aerodynamics and EW system analysis is essential.
You will be given every opportunity to further develop your skills by way of in-house mentoring. In addition, you will receive training on state-of-the-art software toolsets.
Mandatory Skills Requirement:
Operational experience with the techniques, framework and procedures of Electronic Warfare Operational Support (EWOS)
Experience of designing, developing training of a highly technical nature in the areas of Radar, Electro-Optic and Infra-Red Weapon Systems
Relevant military or industrial experience and eligible to hold UK security clearances
Desirable Skills Requirements
Post graduate qualification in an aerospace topic
Modelling and simulation experience
Familiarity with Platform Protection / Countermeasures Design and Development
Electronic Intelligence (ELINT) weapon system analysis and database population / manipulation
Familiarity with JSP-822 Defence Systems Approach to Training
