About the role

Here at Babcock International we are looking to recruit a Licensed Aircraft Engineer (LAE) to join our team based at Boscome Down, Salisbury who are responsible for supporting the Armed Forces, Educational and Commercial institute with a variety of supporting services.

You will be part of a team that has vast experience in aviation support who provide professionally competent specialist aircraft engineering, line and depth maintenance to our many clients.

Using your experience provide a CRS signature as required for all work carried out on company aircraft when appropriate to release an aircraft to service after defect rectification or scheduled maintenance IAW current EASA Part M and Part 145 and Babcock company approvals.

You will be tasked with carrying out and supervise aircraft engineering tasks on company aircraft/equipment in support of the Elementary Military Flying Training Task IAW current EASA Part M and Part 145 approvals.

What do I need to do the role?

• Specific technical knowledge.
• Sound understanding of partnering and alliance between customer and contract.
• EASA Part 66, B1.2 license, or B3, B1.1 ,or partial completion modules / completed modules to be shown on CV.
• Ability to demonstrate practical and theoretical standards required.
• Driving Licence.

Would also like you to have experience in all or some of these areas:

• Supervisory experience in a Civil/Military Aviation environment.
• Composite Materials Experience.
• Type Rating on Grob 115E aircraft and Lycoming 360 engines.

• The position will be based on site in Boscombe Down, Wiltshire
