OPERATIONAL SECURITY ANALYST - SC CLEARED

REQUIRED: OPERATIONAL SECURITY ANALYST - SC CLEARED
LOCATION: BRACKNELL
CONTRACT: 6 MONTH INITIAL CONTRACT

An Operational Security Analyst/ Advisor is required to operate, monitor and maintain the Security solution.

As a member of the Security Team the analyst/advisor will perform the following tasks:
* The appliance of contractual security compliance in all its manifestations in the live environment
* Ensure security alerts and incidents are captured and that appropriate action
* Investigate security incidents, events and issues and undertake security investigations when required
* Carry out regular systematic security reviews to identify suspicious activities
* Liaise with the security architecture team with the aim of continuously improving services
* Carrying out and reporting on trend analysis to identify existing and potential security issues
* Maintain Security operations records
* Provide support to the Change Management Process and the System Control Board by supplying information when requested and impacting Operational Change Requests
* Attend Senior Customer Meetings
* Manage requests for Audit information from the Authority in accordance with contract
* Produce/maintain security processes and team work instructions
* Provide input into security reports when required for the internal and external customer
* Produce monthly & weekly security reports for internal & external customer
* Provide professional security advice and guidance



Due to the nature and urgency of this post, candidates holding or who have held high level security clearance in the past are most welcome to apply. Please note successful applicants will be required to be security cleared prior to appointment which can take up to a minimum 10 weeks.
