Outline of duties:

With a solid knowledge of SharePoint 2010/2013/2016 application development, the SharePoint Developer will develop, custom coding when required, to deliver new internal solutions and improve existing ones. Must be able to work in an Agile mythology. To develop a new enterprise application on our new High availability SharePoint 2016 Farm

An important part of the role is also the ability to effectively communicate with end users, work to tight deadline.

Working within a team of Developers and BA's the role requires the following skills:

Skills Overview

• SharePoint 2013/2016 Enterprise administration, application development, configuration including PowerShell Scripting.
• Any knowledge of http://www.treegrid.com Gantt chart
• C# Asp.Net
• Good knowledge of web development tools including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, XML/XSLT and Ajax used alongside standard SharePoint functionalities to deliver solutions.
• Ability to develop REST Web Services
• Demonstrating the ability to create standard SharePoint content e.g. sites, lists, libraries, workflows, content types, publishing pages, content search/query web parts etc.
• Develop solutions using out-of-the-box features, and custom coding when needed.
• Develop Unit Test Codes
• Must be able to troubleshoot SharePoint errors.
• Must understand Sprints and TFS, CI automated builds process
• Knowledge of other relevant SharePoint development tools.
• Ensure that all development work is accurately tested and documented.
• Provide end user training and support for the solution developed and general SharePoint enquiries or troubleshooting.
• Writing manuals and documenting developed solutions. Being fluent in English is a must (written and spoken).
