Infrastructure Engineer - VMWare (vSphere)
IR35: Outside
Clearance: SC
Duration: March 2019 (with possible extension)
Rate: £400-450
Location: East Kilbride, Glasgow
Start date: ASAP
- Advanced knowledge of the vSphere (v6.0 and above) technology stack, including vSAN and NSX. To support an upgrade to vSphere 6.7
- Advanced knowledge of key infrastructure platforms and tools: Active Directory, Backup & Recovery (Rubrik experience advantageous but not essential), Microsoft Terminal Services, and Microsoft Server 2012/2016
- Understanding of WAN & LAN networking concepts including: TCP/IP, DHCP, WINS, DNS
- A validated background in the installation, configuration and support of VMware ESX based server virtualisation solutions
