Software Verification Engineer

You will be joining a successful and highly motivated R&D team with a passion for new technologies creating unique, leading edge, embedded technology of the highest standard. The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate strong design and coding skills, a desire to explore ideas and, above all, have a passion for quality.
About the role:
To be responsible for testing & developing innovative products and systems.

To collaborate in Unit Test.

To participate in potential analysis of customer requirements to produce maintainable designs, develop and deliver work to schedule.

To participate in code and documentation reviews, provide estimate for tasks.
To provide input to technical authors producing documentation and be expected to work with support engineers on customer issues.
To be able to work in a team and on their own initiative, have an eye for detail and good at identifying problems whilst suggesting prospective solutions.

To perform third party software integrations.

Essential skills:
*Generating test strategies
*Complete unit testing
*Generate test cases based on the system level requirements
*Develop and complete automated tests
*Embedded software/system background
*Experience of testing embedded software
*Experience of unit testing (LDRA essential)
*Proven experience of generating test cases to system level requirements
*Experience of automated testing (Python preferred)
*Familiarity with static analysis tools.
*Good written and oral communication skills with a diagnostic approach.
Desirable skills:

*Proficient in JTAG/ETM debugging tools
*C# development experience
*Proficiency with scripting languages such as Ruby, Groovy, Python, Perl and Bash
*Practical experience of developing Microsoft Windows Applications.
*Computer network security and vulnerability analysis.
*Conversant with IP standards. Multi-threaded RTOS and bare metal embedded experience.
*Background in a range of CPU/MPU's with practical experience in ARM based architectures.
