Opus Recruitment Solutions are delighted to be partnered with a Global MSSP in Reading on their search for a SIEM Engineer/SME. The role is a newly created position due to the continued growth of the company across the globe.

You'll act as a mentor and subject matter expert to the SOC team for all things SIEM as well providing technical expertise to the corporate clients. My client use a number of different SIEM tools including; LogRhythm, Splunk & QRadar

Key responsibilities;

• Act as subject matter expert for all SIEM technologies for the SOC team.
• Assist corporate clients with their SIEM queries.
• Develop the processes, policies and rules for both the internal and corporate client functions.
• Create group wide 'how to' guides.
• Lead group level projects such as emergency mitigation and system upgrades.

Experience, skills and knowledge;

• 3 years SIEM experience.
• Worked with either LogRhythm, RSA, Splunk OR QRadar (other SIEM tools may be considered)
• Qualifications such as; CISSP, GEH, CISM, Security+, GCIA, GCED, GCIH etc will be very favourable.
