Do you have a keen interest in Training and Learning Design? Do you want to gain experience working in a fast paced design aimed at supporting professional development in Policing?

This exciting new apprenticeship role forms an important part of the Learning Design team development strategy to improve the way design services are delivered across the College of Policing.

The selected candidate will design and develop learning solutions and assessment products to meet national learning standards, career pathways, CPD and qualification frameworks, in order to provide innovative, ethical, evidenced-based learning and development for policing professionals.

This apprenticeship role will provide you with exposure to a broad range of Learning and Development activities such as content design and delivery, strategy development and supporting L&D projects. Alongside the day job, you will spend 20% of your time undertaking a Level 5 qualification as a Learning & Development Consultant which will give you the knowledge needed to underpin your new role.

What you will need

• A demonstrably high level of communication skills, both written and verbal • A minimum of Maths & English GCSE A to C grade (or willingness to complete relevant functional skills tests) • Educated to Degree level • Evidence of commitment to own personal development • Ability to manage a varied workload • Ability to share information and knowledge openly with others • Ability to build a rapport with internal and external stakeholders • Strong IT skills
