TUTOR - AEROSPACE/AVIONIC ENGINEERING

£30,000 - £33,000 (Increases once a tutor course is completed (12-14 weeks))

The Job:
Your primary responsibility is to train, support and develop Avionic trade Apprentices for the Assessment of the Level 2 and Level 3 Competence qualifications
You will be responsible for delivery of both theoretical and practical lessons in the relevant subject areas including aviation maths and science.
Identifying needs of learners and using teaching methods accordingly;
Preparation of schemes of work, lesson plans and learning material, in accordance with the QATS Quality Management System is also a key part of the role
As the Aerospace/Avionic Tutor you will be evaluating and assessing learners performance and documenting progress;
Ensuring all learner progress reports are completed on time and to the correct standard;
You will also be contributing to course design, programming, planning and aspects of delivery where required;
The Fit
You must have a level 3 Aerospace Engineering qualification (or a Mechanical Engineering qualification with some Avionic topics covered)
Any practical aircraft maintenance experience would be beneficial but isn't essential
If you hold an Assessor qualification (level 2 or 3) please highlight within your CV
