Incident Manager - DV Clearance

LOCATION: London

DURATION: 12 Months Contract with the option for further contract renewals

DAILY RATE: Highly Competitive (dependent on candidate's level of experience)

CONDITIONS: DV CLEARANCE is required for this position prior to contract commencement

Role / Project Information

We are looking to recruit a talented Incident Manager with a strong customer focus to join a high performing team to provide Incident, Problem and Knowledge Management activities.

The primary objective is to return IT Services to customers as quickly as possible, qualifying the reduction to an IT service and managing any unplanned interruptions.

Key responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

  • Facilitate discussions - getting answers out of stakeholders;
  • Adapt/be flexible to situations;
  • Autonomous working, seeking out improvements/Enhancements;
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work under pressure;
  • Working alongside senior grades and confident in challenging them where appropriate;
  • Managing expectations of customers across all IT areas of the business.
  • What are we looking for?

    We are keen to recruit an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual with a high level of attention to detail with a skillset and knowledge of the following areas:

  • Excellent awareness of Incident management and/or Problem management processes;
  • Efficient time management, work prioritisation and multitasking skills;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English including documentation writing;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills;
  • The ability to work under pressure and maintain focus in challenging circumstances;
  • ITIL v3 Foundation Certificate.
