Key Responsibilities
- Aircrew Instructors are to instruct relevant aspects of the BFT syllabus. This includes (but is not limited to) the delivery of phase briefs, technical lessons, practical demonstrations and sorties (both live and synthetic).
- To ensure FW BFT training is delivered to the agreed training schedule.
- Achieve positive feedback in INVAL critiques of the BFT Pilot training.
- Complete Airborne CFS accredited training.
- Gain and maintain Endorsement of Competence on the aircraft type from Central Flying School
- BFT QFIs are responsible for making recommendations to the BFT Chief Pilot for any courseware changes.
- Previous military experience as a B1 or higher FW Qualified Flying Instructor, or civilian equivalent
- Computer fluency to include Windows, Microsoft Office Suite and Explorer
- Experience as a Military BFT QFI
- Recent relevant Military Front Line experience
