About the role
Here at Babcock International we're looking to recruit a Design Airworthiness Engineer to join our Onshore Design & Completion division. Babcock Design and Completions conducts in house design, manufacture, installation, test and certification activities for modifications to Civil and Military Aeroplanes and Helicopters.

You'll be part of a team that has over 30 years' experience in Emergency Medical Services, paramilitary and civil aircraft - delivering bespoke modifications and aircraft completions for a variety of aircraft types.
Working in conjunction with our production and installation teams, you will assist in the design of avionic installations, ensuring the design meets the specified certification requirements. Using your experience within design you will be required to be both proactive and innovative to help provide a variety of solutions for our customer.

You'll join an evolving department with plans for growth. This will create future opportunities and help with personal growth. You'll be given training where required as well as learning from a well established team of highly experienced engineers.

What do I need to do the role?
You'll need to have previous design experience, with exposure to preferable the aviation sector. You must also be familiar with software packages, like solidworks.

What else do I need to know?

• Our headquarters are in Staverton, Gloucestershire.
• Salary is up to £45,000 dependent on experience. Overtime and potential bonus available.
• 40 hours per week
