About the role
Here at Cavendish Nuclear we're looking to recruit a Construction Engineer to join the team working on the Hinkley Point C project as part of the Mechanical, Electrical & HVAC (MEH) Joint Venture. Cavendish are specifically looking after the mechanical aspect of the MEH installation. Hinkley Point C is the first nuclear power station to be built in the UK for 20 years and this is an exciting opportunity to be part of that legacy.
You will participate in project constructability or build-ability reviews. At times you will be required to articulate and agree construction strategies with team members, the client, design engineering, interfacing contractors and service providers, to help generate technical reports as necessary. You will support the design and construction risk assessments to help with the safe installation of plant and equipment on site.
Cavendish Nuclear are a renowned nuclear engineering organisation and this is an opportunity to join their prestigious nuclear services business unit. We are a lifetime partner to EDF energy and are supporting the Hinkley Point C project (circa £20B) with a variety of services.
