General Description of Job
 
To be responsible and accountable for the delivery of Internal Validation on behalf of the DSEME EMTC in line with Company standards and contractual requirements

Main Tasks
 
  • Provide an internal validation (InVal) analytical service in line with JSP 822 DSAT Policy, SO7158 and the Statement of Requirement.
  • Ensuring stakeholder engagement with timely feedback in regards to reporting of findings and actions
  • Member of a professional team responsible for the collection, collation, analysis and triangulation of data in order to provide evidence, findings and recommendations for reported actions, in accordance with the EMTC and Authority local instructions.
  • Analyse the immediate reaction of the trainee to a training activity, in order to determine the perceived effectiveness of the activity.
  • Analyse the learning transfer achieved by the training activity, in order to determine the extent to which the trainee has increased their knowledge, skills (acquired) and attitudes (developed).
  • Undertake InVal activities in support of Head of Accreditation and Validation, including the production of quality reports as part of the training analysis process
  • Undertake any other duties over and above those listed, within reason, as directed by your line manager.
  • Ensure Company health, safety and environmental procedures are implemented and complied with at all times. direction
 
Technical Experience and Qualifications
 
Essential
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with tact and diplomacy.
  • Consolidated experience of training management and auditing of educational training organisations
  • Consolidated experience of using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word (or equivalent software packages) to manipulate data accordingly and to present statistical information accordingly
 
Desirable
  • Consolidated experience in either Defence Systems Approach to Training/ ISO9001-2015/ School/College self-evaluation processes.
  • Demonstrable experience of quality control (internal validation), quality assurance and analytical skills
  • Consolidated experience in providing end of course data analytics
  • ECDL or equivalent demonstrable proficiency in using IT (software) within the workplace

  • Champions and supports all H&SE initiatives and procedures and cascades this Babcock ethos effectively to all staff.
