Duration: 6 Months [initially]

EXCLUSIVE OPPORTUNITY: Sopra Steria is currently recruiting for a Service Transition Manager to support a new customer service transition into an existing IT Department, on an initial 6 month contract.

The role will initially cover a period of due diligence and review of existing applications and their support position for early life cycle transition. This will follow with two new aspects of solution and service creation that will need transitioning successfully with support model and team readiness in place.

The role will involve working in between a Transition Programme and the receiving IT department with touch points and support / interactions within each to provide direction to complete the transitional service activities required.

The successful candidate must be willing to undergo a security clearance process.

Essential Skills

• Demonstrable experience of Service Transition on large projects.
• Experience of Service Architecture and design work on new service provisions.
• Experience of ITIL working environments.
• Extensive experience in IT / IT Service Management and multi-supplier environment.

Desirable Skills

• Previous experience of working as a Service Manager.
• Previous experience of working as a Project Manager or other relevant established IT Role.
• IT Qualification to degree level with additional professional IT Qualifications for IT Service, Project, Technical or Process oriented.
