Media / Graphic Design / Website / UI / UX Developer - Due to a brand new exciting contract win, we are recruiting for a number of Media Developers delivering high quality e-learning courseware development services to a Naval training programme based in Fareham, supporting a global leader in simulation. We are looking for dynamic, talented and innovative individuals to deliver instructional design and development processes.

Overview

  • Production of media in support of the elearning requirements of the project
  • Mentoring of Media Developers in support of the Media Development Manager
  • Continually improve the way they contribute to the business
  • Ensure that they work in an effective collaborative manner with the project team, displaying the appropriate behaviours at all times
  • Be responsible for the adherence of company policies and procedures within the development utilising Courseware production process, Development and Acceptance Processes and Courseware Design Document
  • Provide advice and guidance to stakeholders on the use of media for e-Iearning.
  • Identification and implementation of best practice in all areas of Graphic Design, Multi-Media, Photography, Video, and Video Editing.

Key Skills

  • Degree level qualification or demonstrable track record in media design and delivery
  • Extensive experience in developing technology based design solutions (such as e-learning, multimedia, websites, promo)
  • Understanding of web design standards, responsive design and UI / UX design
  • An overall understanding of HTML5 / CSS3 / Javascript / PHP / SQL
  • Basic understanding of C# / C++

Desirable

  • Experience with Adobe Photoshop / Illustrator
  • Recent experience in training design and development
  • Knowledge of Quality Assurance procedures
