IT SYSTEMS SPECIALIST - BANKING, LONDON, CITY

Messaging, MS Exchange 2013 / 2016, Active Directory 2012 / 2016, Group Policy, Windows Servers, Server Clustering, VMware 6.5 in VDI & View environments, VEEAM, Backup Exec, Anti-Virus Support & Administration, Mass Storage SAN (Nutanix) and EMC VNX, Email Filtering Technologies, Task Automation & PowerShell Centralised Application Deployment (CAD), Security Auditing & Patching Administration, SQL, Problem Management (specific skill-set) & Critical Data-Management.

Salary £48,000 to £55,000 + Personal & Team Bonuses, Training & Development (accreditations) Health & Pension.

The client is a privately owned, established Financial Services and Investment organisation with a significant history who are seeking a career minded, professional, ethical and confident IT Systems Specialist to support their 3rd Line Team.

Based out of their City HQ you will be responsible predominantly for 3rd Line Technical Support for their HQ and UK user base, including their Dealer and Trading floor systems as well as across their UK and Global infrastructure.

Reporting directly to the Head of IT, prerequisites are a calm and methodical approach to you work, a strong and professional service ethic with a natural willingness to help your IT Team, peers, colleagues, customers and stakeholders.

This is a high-level support role and will require a consultative DNA, excellent communication skills and ideally IT Systems experience gained in and around the financial arena.

  • Messaging, MS Exchange 2013 and 2016
  • Active Directory 2012 and 2016
