Project Manager- Security Cleared Projects

RT Consulting are a Change and Transformation Consultancy, supporting the delivery of change across UK Government, Defence and Intelligence Sectors.

Partnering with the Big 4 and other Consultancies to deliver tangible, long lasting change. Due to our continued success across our UK Defence Portfolio, we are growing our RT Society of Permanent Associates. 

With that in mind, we are looking for Project Managers with 2-5 years experience to join our RT Society of Permanent Consultants. 

As the Project Manager you will be working directly on client site, you will be liaising directly with client and project stakeholders, so you will possess excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.

The Project Manager will be responsible for:

• Analysing, developing and supporting the timely and cost effective delivery of client projects meeting business needs
• Appropriate planning, monitoring, controlling and reporting of project performance
• Support identification of risk and mitigating actions
• Champion the application of appropriate project delivery strategies ensuring successful business outcome.

Key experiences we are looking for include:

• Knowledge of P3M and previous experience of implementing P3M practices
• Strong Stakeholder Engagement
• Ability to work autonomously and a proven track record of Project Delivery
• Defence industry knowledge (desirable)
• Mentoring or Coaching (desirable)

The successful Project Manager will ideally be:

• Educated to Degree level or equivalent in a relevant subject
• PRINCE2 Practitioner level
• APMP - Certified Project Management Associate
• A member of the Association for Project Management (MAPM)

Due to the nature of this project, the Project Manager will need to be Security Cleared to SC level or be willing and eligible to go through the Security Clearance process. 

RT Consultants have the opportunity to work across some of the largest, most complex Programmes of work being delivered across the UK. As a member of our RT Society, we aim to offer you as much support and project continuity as possible, with a dedicated RT Society Team and web based platform where you can interact with other RT Society members.
