Business Analyst - MOD - Contract - Gloucestershire

Responsibilities:

Expected to take lead roles in client or business delivery assignments, with responsibility for achieving client satisfaction, producing deliverables to expected quality and within commercial constraints and on occasions managing teams of consultants.

• Will need to build and maintain strong client relationships as will be often embedded in the client's delivery teams working directly with client staff and consultants from other organisations
• Contribute and collaborate with a range of stakeholders routinely
• Being adaptable and flexible to suit the circumstances, being prepared to work either at a high-level or at a detailed level when its required
• Delivery of high quality, innovative client solutions with the full support of the consulting teams

Skills and experience:

• A proven and successful background in business analysis with also some project management expertise. An in-depth knowledge of at least one relevant business sector. May be a noted expert in a particular functional or industry sector area.
• Must demonstrate experience in a broad range of business analysis skills from requirements analysis to business process improvement to use case analysis
• Consulting experience with major clients on client sites
• Demonstrable experience of working on projects or assignments, with evidence of responsibility to deliver in time pressured and complex technical or intense stakeholder environments
• Experience at leading business change initiatives
• Experience and delivery of the processes and products involved in successful planning and implementation of business change
• Demonstrating adaptability in the application of standard management frameworks, managing multiple stakeholders and building relationships
• Commercial skills with a proven understanding of bidding and contract management / award.
• Experience of investment appraisals, business case development
• Problem identification, report writing, recommending actions working knowledge of financial processes and ability to report financial data would be advantageous
