LOCATION: Mons, Belgium

CLIENT: NATO

DURATION: 6 months with extensions

CONTRACT: Consultant

SALARY: Negotiable daily rate

WORK HOURS: Monday to Friday, normal working hours

CLEARANCE: NATO SECRET

 

TASKS:

  • Central administration of Boundary Protection Services/Devices and Gateway services
  • Analysis of reported incidents, trouble tickets and change proposals
  • Technical fault correction and configuration change implementation

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Very Good experience and knowledge of Computer and Networks Security principles and procedures.
  • Very Good experience of UNIX and Microsoft Operating systems
  • Strong knowledge of DNS, mail, web servers/proxies, mail guards
  • Strong Knowledge and very good experience of firewalls for following vendors: Checkpoint, Palo Alto Networks, Juniper
  • Strong knowledge of security principles, practices and technologies
  • Strong knowledge and experience of Boundaries Protections Devices
  • Practical knowledge and experience of firewalls installation and management
  • Good experience in troubleshooting TCP/IP networks to identify problems
  • Working knowledge of TCP/IP protocols and services
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing with fluency in English

 A PLUS:

  • Very good knowledge of Central Management solutions: Checkpoint (Provider-1), Palo Alto Networks (Panorama), Juniper (Network and Security Manager)
  • Strong experience and technical knowledge on WANS and LANS and components (switches, routers)
  • Knowledge of system security requirements and their implementation
  • Experience of systems implementation in the NATO environment
