- 1. Design, develop, implement and maintain software to control snake-arm robots, other robots and hardware, tools and sensors 2. Deliver customer requirements (internal and external customers) 3. Maintain the quality of the products by actively testing, fixing and improving 4. Work with the senior leader to define personal technical objectives 5. Influence technical strategy 6. Responsibility for software architecture delivery 7. Autonomy within confines of architectural specification 8. Design novel software algorithms and methods 9. - 1. Good degree (or equivalent) in a rigorous engineering, scientific, or mathematical subject 2. Excellent C++ skills 3. Strong mathematical ability 4. Good problem-solving skills 5. Experience with modern debuggers and software development tools 6. - 1. Experience with C, C#, WPF, XAML, XML, python 2. Experience developing for Windows, Linux, IOS, embedded systems 3. JavaScript, HTML, web server and clients 4. HMI, and UI design 5. Control theory 6. 3D graphics including directX, openGL and WebGL 7. Systems engineering 8. Positive, self-motivated, enthusiastic 9. High level of initiative 10. Excellent team-working skills 11. Excellent and proactive communicator 12. Good organisational and time-management skills 13. Good customer-facing skills 14. Enjoys a varied working environment in the office and onsite 15.
