Implementation & Deployment Specialist (x6) - DV Clearance

LOCATION: Gloucestershire

DURATION: 10 Months Contract - option to extend based on personal performance

DAILY RATE: Highly Competitive - dependent on candidate's level of experience

CONDITIONS: Candidates that hold DV Clearance is preferred, however SC Cleared and non-cleared candidates eligible to undergo DV clearance will be considered for this post.

Role

We are looking to put together a talented and experienced team of Implementation & Deployment Specialists (six in total) and be responsible for the following areas:

System/Application/Network Support

  • Perform routine maintenance on cloud infrastructure e.g. Microsoft Cloud products such Azure Core Platform, Office 365, SSO/Federation, AD/Azure etc. / knowledge of scripting config changes via PowerShell is desirable.
  • Perform routine config across cloud estate - Strong knowledge of OS including Windows 2016, 2012 and 2008 Server.
  • Perform routine networking and infrastructure debugging activities e.g ability to read and analyse network traces, fiddler, SQL trace etc.
  • Application management and config at a network level for cloud application such as SharePoint and Exchange.
  • Creation of technical documentation and knowledge sharing.
  • Deploying or integrating cloud technologies based on requirements.

Desktop Support

  • Install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot Windows 10, Office365 Office 2016 and other authorised desktop applications.
  • Install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot for printers, computer hardware and other authorised peripheral equipment.
  • Perform general preventative maintenance tasks on laptops, computers, printers and other authorised equipment.
  • Perform remedial repairs on laptops, computers, printers and other authorised equipment.
  • Develop trends by analysing support requests.

Operational

  • Hardware and application support queries, user data and application recovery
  • Email and user account administration
  • Troubleshooting problems with network connectivity and workstation hardware/software
  • Hardware and software inventory
  • Escalate issues where necessary
