A market leading software developing organisation are looking for a Technical Consultant to join their expert staff and empower them to provide outstandingly high quality work for their clients. This well-established company are constantly innovating, they plan to double in size over the next 5 years.

Working for this organisations would mean that you are routinely exposed to a wide array of technologies. They are an IT solutions supplier; customers may therefore reasonably expect members of the team to have a certain level of working knowledge of IT systems. An adaptable, team worker would be the right candidate.

The primary role of a Technical Consultant is to support the project team and clients through the process of installing the company software at their desired location. You are expected to develop and display excellent technical and non-technically communication skills as you will be involved in external projects, exemplary client facing skills are also required.

This work includes liaising with the client and internal project team members at all levels and stages of a project, to develop a good working relationship with the client and to be responsible for effective and timely communication with both the client and your colleagues. You may be assigned to a number of projects at a time, therefore excellent time management skills are required.

The following desirable technology experience would be beneficial:

  • Microsoft ecosystem (Windows Server/Client/IIS/ SQL Server/ RemoteApp/Active Directory etc)
  • Virtual Servers
  • Server load and performance testing
  • Highly available systems
  • Administration
  • Installation and usage of monitoring tools.
  • Networking skills
  • UniData, SBClient or other MV database and tuning of production databases
  • CACI is always looking to evolve to the market/Customer and technology needs and as such you are expected to be able to adapt to new technologies.
