In 2012 Warwickshire Police and West Mercia Police formed a ground-breaking alliance.  Not an easy step to take in the face of decreasing budgets affecting all public services. It has allowed both forces to continue delivering the best possible service for the people who matter - those living in the communities they serve.

This has been nationally recognised and acclaimed as a success. Other forces around the country are looking to implement a similar model.

We have opportunities available across Warwickshire Police force area for Constables currently serving in Home Office forces.

We are looking for officers in the following roles:

Accredited Detective Constable

Authorised Firearms Officers (Relocation expenses are payable subject to eligibility)

Firearms Trainer - Police Constable

Local Policing

Warwickshire Police and West Mercia Police have entered into a collaboration agreement under Section 23 of the Police Act 1996 which allows for the transfer of officers between the two Forces without the need for permanent changes to their conditions of service.  Successful candidates will be posted in accordance with the agreed Posting Principles.
