Scrum Master - MVP
Scrum Master, Staines - 6 Month Contract
My client is a FTSE100 Multinational Utilities company who have been established for well over a century. They are looking to take on a Scrum Master to join their well-established team.
They are seeking an experienced scrum master to join a fast-moving digital team. Their team is leading significant digital transformation across the organisation, including transforming the experience, the technology and their ways of working. They're building products that help their customers manage their energy and their homes they've put agile, lean and UCD principles front and centre, setting up dedicated autonomous product teams working in a test and learn/MVP manner.
They even get their customers through the door every week to check they're doing the right things. This is an opportunity to work with an increasingly ambitious team who want to find the best ways to deliver products their customers love to use. Their product teams range in terms of their agile maturity. They're looking for an outstanding scrum master to take on at least one of their product teams and help us continuously improve their processes.
Their teams work using Scrum or Kanban (They let them decide) and you'll be expected to facilitate the standard agile activities (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, sprint reviews, etc.) to help them deliver the best quality products they can build. You'll coach and educate your team and stakeholders in agile principles, you'll measure their performance and you'll help your team remove their impediments. But they'll expect you to do more than co-ordinate the usual ceremonies. They're looking for scrum masters who go above and beyond to improve their product team's outcomes. They also want someone who will bring in new ideas which influence their ways of working across the department, working with other scrum masters.
The successful candidate will:
- Hold a Scrum Master certification
- Have proven experience in working in a product
- Centric digital environment, guiding their teams to refine and improve their ways of working.
- Have experience working to lean principles, including helping teams build and understand MVPs.
- Have experience working with a range of stakeholders at varying levels
