The Ideal Candidate:

The candidate should be able to deal with ambiguity and to cope with change as the requirements unfold. The candidate should be able to act without having the entire picture. Must be a self-starter, with the ability to problem solve and work through the ask from the client and identify the holistic solution, particularly identify where there may be impacts on other projects or services. Take on ownership of the problem to seek resolution.

The candidate will be reporting into a Solution Architect (or Solution Lead), as well as being client facing, therefore need to be professional, easy to approach and the ability to explain (and write) the solution/technical details is a clear manner.

Working Hours & Travel within the role:

The Account is a UK secure account and as such the resource needs to work in office locations as approved by the client.The work is a standard 7.5 hours per normal working day. The client is based in London UK.

The working location will be a mix of remote working and travelling across London as needed to deliver the engagement.

Overview of the role:

This role will join as part of the wider Architecture & Engineering Community (AEC) within the Account, but will be associated within the BAU projects (i.e. different from the Transformation projects). There are currently a number of small BAU projects that are in the pipeline.

The role will require a range of skills during the lifecycle:

Including analytical skills during discovery, design writing skills, and tasking / co-ordination skills of engineering resources.

There will be regular client and other tower representative meetings to discuss approach and progress.

Typical activities include:

Capturing infrastructure requirements, Infrastructure Design Documents covering Hosting and End User Service scope, progression of solutions through on Account Solution Governance, attending cross tower meetings, supporting the engineers during delivery, inputting to test plans and project plans.

The ability to interact with the client and engineering resources - to act as the technical bridge between the two.

Gain experience working in a secure account on a number of projects in a SIAM Tower account. Supporting the client to make use of their investment in the technology and platforms delivered as part of Transformation.

Further Requirements & Certifications:

- Certificate Authorities / HSM - 3+ years' experience

- Hosting Environments (virtualization, storage, databases, PaaS, etc.)

- 7- 10 years' experience minimum

- CTC clearance

- Language level 4/5, must be able to write High and Low level designs as well as communicate in a technical manner to engineers/client's TDAs, and non-technical to client.
