x4 1st Line/Desktop Support Engineers - SC Cleared, Canary Wharf - Initial 1 Month Contract

My client is a large well known UK company who is listed on the London Stock Exchange and has been established for well over 30 years. They are looking for a team of 1st Line/Desktop Support Engineers to join their well-established team.

Key responsibilities:

    • Monitor agent status of the Automated Call Display system
    • Respond to hardware and software service calls and ensure SLA targets are achieved
    • Adhere to escalation procedures
    • Perform hardware and software installations as necessary
    • Assist with technical escalations for other team members, acting as a point of escalation
    • Adhere to customer and company Security Policies.
    • Help develop and manage the sites procedure file
    • Ensure accurate completion of all incident and request records and associated paperwork
    • Adhere to Company and customer Health & Safety policies
    • Manage the call management system as required Allocate support calls to analysts when required

Key knowledge & experience required:

    • Experience of using remote access tools
    • A flexible approach to working hours
    • Experienced within Desktop environment
    • The ability to troubleshoot LAN/WAN network issues
    • Previous experience supporting bespoke corporate applications
    • The ability to support Outlook and Word to an Advanced level (not advanced user level)
    • Good understanding of IT infrastructure
    • Ability to diagnose faults in the hardware/software/operating systems used by the customer
    • Good working knowledge of Win7/10 and its deployment
    • Good working knowledge of current software packages
    • Lenovo Accreditation on Desktop and Laptop Knowledge of supporting, WIN 10, o365 Desirable
    • Previous exposure to call logging systems
    • Experience of Remedy
    • Manufacturer accreditations
    • Previous experience of supporting a virtual desktop environment
