Job Type

Reports to the Financial Controller and duties will include:

  • Accounts Receivable invoicing, including transmission on customer portals;
  • Reviewing Accounts Receivable invoices against workflow to ensure capture of all customer invoicing;
  • Issue regular customer statements;
  • Credit control, including working with project teams to ensure timely payments;
  • Intermediaries reporting;
  • Assisting with payment runs and raising bank payments;
  • Dealing with all aspects of petty cash and foreign currency;
  • Physical banking and uplift of cash as required;
  • Assisting with month end and journal posting as required;
  • Prepare VAT returns and payments;
  • EU sales list and intrastat as required;
  • Providing cover for the Accounts Assistant role and any support required within the finance team;
  • Provide cover for payroll (in-house or a payroll bureau).


  • Team player with a flexible and positive attitude
  • Up to date and relevant knowledge of HMRC regulations
  • Financial systems knowledge (Sage, Exchequer, Oracle or similar)
  • Good Excel & PowerPoint skills
  • Payroll software & processes
  • Strong process & administration skills
  • AAT qualified or similar


  • Implementing new ERP systems and processes

This role is for 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday and based in St. Neots, Cambridgeshire. Full company benefits will apply.
