Oracle Financials Consultant - P2P / R12 - SC Cleared

Senior Oracle Finance Consultant required working with the Finance Team aiding in the delivery of multiple complex changes for a demanding Central Government department for a large IT Service Provider on a 6 month contract based in Warrington.

This is a high profile role and requires the ability to help Project Leads in delivery, analyse client requirements and help provide solution designs.

This role is will require project assignment based working on various sites through the UK, involving overnight stays as required (typically Monday to Thursday).

The candidue will require expert level knowledge in either of the following areas in addition to having competency and understanding the Financial modules in E-Business Suite;

  1. Expert Level knowledge of Procure to Pay modules alongside Customised Sub Ledger Accounting Method
  2. The candidate will need to be able to own this functional area and should be able to design and implement a solution in this area.
  3. Expert Level knowledge of Integration of Accounts Receivables with third-party systems to facilitate Invoicing and Receipting of the transactions. In addition to this, a thorough knowledge of Cash Management with a view to enhancing the capability offered by the COTS functionality is required from the incumbent.

This role will require the following:

  • To own modular Solution Delivery to Clients
  • To help to facilitate [Solution Design] workshops with client representatives
  • Aid in the coordination of build activities into multiple test environments
  • Ensure all documentation is up to date and secured in the Config Management System (Dimensions)
  • Work alongside the other Finance Team members.
  • Creation of Test Scripts and carrying out Tests

Key Competencies and Requirements:

  • Oracle ERP applications R11.5.10 and R12 Functional experience
  • At least three full lifecycle Oracle R12 Implementation projects
  • Able to translate Client requirements into solution design and functional configuration
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to Communicate effectively with the stakeholders as well as peers
  • Confident
  • Adaptable/Flexible and willing to take on additional tasks on an as-required basis
  • Able to effectively manage own work schedule with minimum supervision
