Job Title: Senior HR Business Partner (Cyber & Intelligence)
Location: Gloucester or Manchester (with some travel to other sites as required)

Summary of Role:
The Senior HR Business Partner (Cyber & Intelligence Business) has overall responsibility for the Cyber & Intelligence (C&I) business units people strategy. Ownership & leadership of HR in support of the Mission areas across Gloucester, Manchester, Harlow and other customer/project sites.

Main Duties:
• Overall responsibility for the C&I people strategy contributing to overall company strategy.
• Reporting to HR Director (solid line) and Managing Director C&I (dotted line).
• Leadership and control of Human Resources function within these businesses through the matrix HR model across multiple sites.
• Work with the HR Centres of Excellences to lead initiatives affecting C&I business and strategy.
• Formulation of the businesses' People strategies appropriate to the business corporate mission and goals.
• Ownership of the strategic work force plan for the businesses.
• Developing remuneration and reward procedures in conjunction with the HR Centres of Excellence.
• Lead and own Organisation Development and Design initiatives and other transformational activities within the businesses.
• Development of the Leadership Teams within the business.
• Lead continuous improvement management / employee communications and ownership of any Trade Union relationships and negotiation.
• Custodian of compliance with employment law, HR policies & systems within the businesses.
Candidate Requirements:
Key Competencies:
• Extensive business and commercial acumen.
• Ability to influence and motivate others both in the HR team and the wider organisation.
• Extensive planning and organisational skills.
• Ability to identify improvements and innovative solutions to complex problems and drive forward change.
• 'Big Picture', strategic thinker who can identify opportunities to drive the business forward from an HR and business perspective.
• Ability to business partner and influence board level Directors.
Education and experience (essential):
• Postgraduate/ Masters level education.
• Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (or equivalent qualification).
• Substantial and broad experience in appropriate Human Resources to include Head of HR or similar roles.
• Postgraduate Organisation Development and Design (or equivalent qualification).
• Extensive experience in change management.
• Extensive experience of working with and ability to influence board level leaders.
• Extensive experience of sitting on external boards and associations with a high degree of networking.

Education and experience (desirable):
• Industry specific knowledge.
• Experience of working with an international team.
