Salesforce Solution Architect - Work from home & Dublin (Negotiable split)

My client is a Top Pharmaceutical Company who are currently looking to recruit a Solutions Architect. The role will be with the company's Salesforce 'Startup' team which is 75 members strong and has a presence in key strategic locations globally with a core and increasing team size in Dublin. The Salesforce COE team works across a broad range of solutions - everything from apps for internal business productivity to external apps for medical professionals and patients. The key responsibilities for this role includes:

  • Understand the business requirements to create technical solutions that fit the purpose
  • Ensure the consistent design of appropriate solutions and coordination of all design activities across projects and changes
  • Secure technology alignment for the solution, liaising between Enterprise Architecture, Service Delivery Manager, Solution Design Expert, project teams and Factory Lead
  • Ensure solutions to meet the business needs and associated architecture and build are managed in accordance with the company's ISRM and technology standards
  • Lead the innovation & champion reusability for higher productivity gains across the CoE solutions.
  • Interface to UX/UI Designers, Developers and Business Process Experts
  • Lead the co-creation workshops with business stakeholders
  • Support demand intake by providing appropriate sizing estimates with the help of Service Delivery Managers and Project Managers for securing project budget approvals
  • Participate in solution definition by liaising with Business Analyst, Product Managers
  • Implement reusability in the technical solutions
  • Play a key function in understanding the business direction, alignment of strategy to scope of project, and drive measurable expected results aligned with business processes and solution standards
  • Provide guidance around non-functional requirements for the solutions
  • Prepare architecture and technical design documentation, handbooks, design specifications to support project delivery
  • Actively develops or support the creation of technical design documents (FS/DS)
  • Review Test Cases, Test Plans and Test results
  • Assesse change requests
  • Participate in application reviews and provides subject matter expertise
  • Provide technology guidance to team within the COE
  • Capture lessons learnt throughout the build process to benefit other solutions and services in the future

The key experience and knowledge required for this role includes:

  • Significant experience in a similar role with a proven track record in managing large scale projects ($7m+) across 50+ countries and 20.000 + users
  • Experience in multiple coding languages,
  • Experience in projects that span both front and back end development,
  • Experience with system integrations / API's
  • Demonstrated experience in using development toolkits that manages code repositories, code integration and build deployments.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills of leading diverse management teams with considerable proven management experience in a matrix org across all geographic regions
  • Considerable experience in a relevant business leadership function and experience to proficiently translate business requirements to IT
  • Proven capacity to respond to changes which impact the program, deal with uncertainty and proactively resolve issues to deliver the best possible outcome
  • Ability to operate in matrix organization
  • Ability to work with others in a high paced, fluid, multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary team
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills at all management levels
  • Strong can-do attitude
