IT Support Engineer

Our client has a new opportunity for an IT Support Engineer to work on Desktop Implementation & Hardware Support (mainly Windows 7). There are currently 3 teams; Internal Support, Regional Support and Build & Support for Laptop Users. You'll join the team that best suits your skills & team requirement, but you can expect to be rotated to manage supply & give you broad experience.


  • Tasks may include minor moves and changes.
  • Infrastructure changes and new office refits, up to major funded projects.
  • The majority of these pieces of work are time critical, and without the support of engineers, projects would not have the ability to complete on time.


  • Previous experience of working in a Desktop Implementation environment.
  • ITIL foundation (D).
  • Full, manual UK driving licence.

Skills and Abilities (D/E):

  • This role will involve core hours with an opportunity for weekend work.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Understanding of current IT hardware technologies and software.
  • Problem solving using a range of sources and methods; suggesting innovative and creative solutions.
  • Experience of incident and change management software (D).
  • Server experience might be utilised but not essential (D).
