LGV Driver Technician
Package: Basic salary plus contributory pension scheme, generous holiday allowance and additional flexible benefit options
We are currently looking to recruit a number of LGV Driver Technicians to work as part of a dedicated team responsible for the 1st and 2nd line maintenance (ensuring compliance to company and external body standards e.g. VOSA) and repair of specialist mission critical vehicles, and during deployed convoy operations for the safe driving and carriage of cargo.
Reporting into the Workshop Supervisor the Driver Technician should have completed a recognised Mechanical Engineering apprenticeship to C&G level 3 or equivalent NVQ standard in heavy vehicles and will have experience gained within a commercial vehicle workshop environment along with suitable experience of driving LGV Cat C & E vehicles.
As part of this varied and rewarding role the Driver Technician must be willing to work a range of working hours along with being comfortable with the travelling required for the position. Candidates should also be willing and able to obtain and maintain the security clearance required for the role.
