You will work as part of a team to provide exceptional support in person, via telephone and remotely with regular visits to other offices. Providing high quality first and second line support, your core skills should include the following: Windows 7, Active Directory, Exchange and Microsoft Office 2010 as well as Microsoft Lync 2013. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills with good problem solving ability. This is a fantastic opportunity for a customer focussed support specialist to join a busy team in a varied role offering the opportunity to work for a national government agency.

Qualifications

ITIL Foundation 
A+ and/or Microsoft Certified Professional 
Microsoft Certified Desktop Technician

Candidates will ideally hold CTC or SC Security Clearance or be willing and able to undergo the

clearance criteria. The CTC Clearance process involves the following mandatory stages: Baseline

Personnel Security Standard (BPSS), Departmental / Company Records Check, Security

Questionnaire, Criminal Record Check and Security Service Check.  On completion of the vetting

process, the information collected is assessed and a decision made to refuse or approve a CTC

Clearance. Gaining CTC Clearance will normally require you to have been a resident in the UK

for a minimum of 3 years.
