Business Risk Partner
The AWE Risk and Opportunity Function at AWE has undergone a period of extensive change moving it towards providing 'Best in Class' Risk and Opportunity Management to all our stakeholders. As part of this change a number of positions have become available in our well regarded and high performing team.
We are looking for a number of Business Risk Partners to join our team across Capital, Programme and Site and Infrastructure.
This is a senior position, forming part of the management team of the Risk and Opportunity Function, advising and reporting on Risk and Opportunities at Director and Board Level. The Risk Partner positions deputise for the Head of Risk.
You will be an experienced risk professional with strong interpersonal skills and be capable of providing strategic and tactical insight across areas of the business.
We are looking for the Business Risk Partner to have:
- Previous experience of implementing risk management processes and tools in a large regulated environment.
- Experience of quantative risk analysis including modelling risk, schedule and cost.
- Experience of commercial risk management and investment sanctioning processes.
- Strong academic credentials.
- Experience in Leading, coaching and developing a team at a local level to deliver team and personal objectives safely and securely to meet objectives.
Candidates must be willing and able to obtain and maintain the security clearance required for this role.
