We are looking for an Assistant Project Controls Manager to join the Finance and Business Management Group (F&BM). As an Assistant Project Controls Manager you will be involved in enabling improved overall performance for a specific area of the business through the provision of integrated Finance and Business Management analysis and expertise.

As an Assistant Project Controls Manager you will be part of an integrated multi disciplined Project Controls team responsible for supporting the delivery of the Project Controls service. You will be responsible for highlighting key business performance, risks, issues and opportunities to the team and consolidate project analysis and commentary of performance through financial and non financial performance indicators whilst ensuring compliance with F&BM processes.

We are looking for the Assistant Project Controls Manager to have:

  • Degree or HND/HNC in appropriate business or technical discipline or equivalent experience
  • Experience of Project Controls processes and techniques including;
    • Baseline Management
    • Scheduling
    • Cost Control
    • Change Management
    • Performance Reporting
  • Some experience of using Performance Measurement methodologies including Earned Value Management tools and techniques
  • Knowledge of forms of contract
  • Experience of interfacing and reporting effectively with key stakeholders across and outside of the business
  • Excellent IT and communication skills including networking, influencing and stakeholder management
Preferably, we are looking for the Assistant Project Controls Manager to have:

  • Programme and/or Project Management qualification or working towards
