We currently have a vacancy for a Facilities Manager - West at our site in Weymouth.
As a Facilities Manager - West, you will be responsible for the Facilities Management of the Complex Systems & Support sites in the west of the UK from Weymouth up to Helensburgh.
The Facilities Manager - West will also be responsible for the FM SME support to all internal redesign and development projects and all Complex Systems & Support new build and construction projects.
This role will provide you with the opportunity to work for the CS&S facilities in Weymouth, Devonport, Filton, CS&S Barrow, Helensburgh and CS&S Faslane. This is a varied role working on a variety of projects.
Your main responsibilities as a Facilities Manager - West will involve:
Acting as local lead for SHE and Security
Developing and managing site services including security, SHE, cleaning and environment management
Building and grounds maintenance management including but not limited to heating, air conditioning, power management, landscaping and parking
Managing CS&S Facilities ? West refurbishment, redesign and renovation projects
Managing performance and contract management of all service providers
Creating and managing all service level agreements
Managing Site Services and Facilities Management requirements definition and procurement
Space management and the management of the CS&S site services strategy
Managing all rent/rates and utilities and communications infrastructure
Creating and managing of a CS&S archive capability
Managing of fixed and variable Facilities Management budgets
Your skills and qualifications as a Facilities Manager - West:
Strong Project Management experience is essential
Facilities Management experience is essential
Proven experience in site and building management
Project Management qualification desirable but not essential
What we're looking for in you:
You will be an experienced Facilities / Project Manager with excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
