Babcock International Group is currently looking to appoint a Northern-based Field Recruiter on a 12 month FTC (Fixed Term Contract) to work alongside BMW. This role requires national travel, and will be split circa 2 days per week from home, and 3 days of travel to Northern-based BMW Retailers. You will be required to travel to Reading once per month for a team meeting. We are looking for someone based between Nottingham and Newcastle (slight flexibility on this).

The successful candidate will be responsible for recruiting learners onto the BMW Retailer Network Apprenticeship programmes and to promote & market the programmes nationally.

The ideal candidate for this role will have previous experience working in a recruitment or customer-facing environment with a good knowledge of apprenticeship programmes (although this is not essential, as full training will be provided).

Responsibilities:

  • Co-ordinate and deliver Retailer's apprentice recruitment requirements.
  • Co-ordinate and monitor apprenticeship applications, including shortlisting & vetting candidates in line with company process.
  • Travel (Northern-based) to Retailers to conduct apprentice interviews.
  • Support candidates throughout the recruitment process.
  • Support with the promotion of the clients' apprenticeship programmes and vacancies with outside agencies e.g. schools, colleges.
  • Support with the implementation of programme process improvements.
  • Contribute to the overall team performance adhering to set annual targets and managing performance accordingly.
  • .Comply with the Data Protection Act 1998.
  • Travel between BMW Retailers is a large part of the role so ability and willingness to travel is a must

Requirements:

  • Desirable working experience within the Automotive Sector
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong Customer Service experience
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft standard packages - Word, Excel and Powerpoint
  • Excellent communication skills; articulate, ambitious and confident
  • You will be a natural people person who will enjoy driving the development of others.
  • You will be a confident public speaker with a positive and patient attitude
  • Proactive and flexible individuals that are able to adapt to the changing business needs
  • Have strong organisational skills

  • Demonstrate and exemplify a high level of organisational skills,

  • Clear focus on our customers and fulfilling their requirements & needs in line with company process whilst delivering excellent customer service.
  • Excellent in numeracy, literacy and PC skills. Good knowledge of SAP and Microsoft standard packages, e.g. Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Flexible, adaptable and professional approach to work.
  • Demonstrable high level of organisational skills, self-motivation and attention to detail.
  • Empathy with young people and desire to assist them achieve their career and learning aspirations.
  • Willing to travel

  • Educated to GCSE / A level standard.
