Your experience managing a legal team in the construction industry can prove a vital asset to my client; a market leading consultancy with offices all over UK. Your ability to offer sound legal advice to internal clients are key elements in the continuing success of the Business Unit.

You will be given the independence to develop the team and the responsibility to advise colleagues with pressing legal issues.

About the job:

- Manage a team with 2 direct reports
- Advise colleagues on contractual matters
- Management and mitigation of risk
- Ensure client accounts are handled efficiently and effectively.
- Referral to legal action regarding negotiation, adjudication and litigation.
- Manage supplier accounts that are subject to legal action.
- Oversee the management of insolvency matters.
- Take appropriate action regarding accounts in default.
- Manage enquiries regarding the provision of expert witness services.
- Provide ad hoc training to internal clients.
- Develop the skills of direct reports.

About you:

- Construction industry experience
- Legal Practice Certificate essential
- Strong knowledge of the civil claims procedures
- Good contract management understanding
- Knowledge and understanding of dispute resolution, insolvency and bankruptcy
- Experience managing people
