Role
We are currently looking for an exceptional individual to take responsibility and apply System Engineering practice to the development of the various bespoke Electrical and Avionic equipment including the Flight Control Network. The successful candidate will develop the interface control documents, specifications, and system schematics and provide technical management with suppliers to ensure they deliver the products to the system requirements.

Other key accountabilities include:
* Developing the specifications for, and leading the design and technical management of, key elements of the Company's products and systems;
* Providing technical liaison with the relevant internal and external Certification Authorities;
* Providing support to the system engineers for vehicle system testing;
* Liaison with Management, Design, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance and other appropriate departments and Suppliers/Partners to develop optimum design solutions;
* Developing methods, procedures and process improvements;
* Acting as a Company Compliance Verification Engineer in relevant areas.

Essential experience, skills and knowledge:
* Substantial experience in the aerospace industry working on system architecture utilising classical electrical engineering design methods;
* Demonstrable knowledge and experience of working on aircraft electrical and avionics systems, including flight control systems, across the product lifecycle from concept design through to production;
* Understanding of CAA/EASA/FAA certification procedures is also required;
* Familiarity with AutoCad and Vector software will be an advantage.
